Artist Expo Policy on Project Originality

The following statement is taken directly from the Artist Expo Teacher Application

Terms & Conditions / Certification of Originality:  Teacher warrants that the design to be taught is an original design and does not infringe on the copyright of another. Teacher agrees to hold harmless the ARTIST EXPO for any claims and /or suits arising from said design being taught. Teacher further agrees to assume responsibility for defense costs arising from any such action.  Teacher agrees to teach the design submitted at the time and classroom assigned at the ARTIST EXPO.  Lodging and transportation are the teacher's own responsibility. 

If any question concerning infringement of originality is brought to the attention of Artist Expo, Artist Expo will see that both parties are informed and brought together to discuss the issue.  The parties are expected to mutually agree to what action, if any needs to be taken by Artist Expo.  Artist Expo should not be expected nor will make any judgment call concerning originality of artwork.
